Your workplace

Vårdcentralen Kil has 11,500 registered patients and over 30 employees. We are a well-functioning health center with experienced and dedicated staff. We are a great team that truly enjoys working together and caring for one another. The health center is beautifully located about 20 kilometers north of Karlstad and has good transport connections, with both bus and train options available.

Our team consists of experienced general practitioners, ST and AT doctors. We have good staffing with district nurses and registered nurses, some with expertise in diabetes, heart failure, asthma/COPD, and dementia. We have a well-functioning counseling service with social workers, and soon also a psychologist.

Furthermore, our team includes nursing assistants, healthcare administrators, foot care therapists, rehabilitation coordinators, and custodians who work both independently and in close collaboration with the team. The health center also has physiotherapy, BMM, BVC, UM, and a laboratory.

We work in the Cosmic journal system.

We place great emphasis on a good working environment and work from a health-promoting perspective, offering wellness grants and planned time for wellness if the operations allow. Stability, dialogue, and collegial support are important to us in our daily work.

Your tasks

Your tasks include acute and planned outpatient care as well as some on-call and standby work. The work is varied, involving investigation, assessment, treatment, and follow-up of patients of all ages. We are also responsible for nursing homes and home care, BMM, BVC, and youth clinics.

We work transprofessionally around the patient and recognize everyone's value in teamwork; you need to be able to collaborate easily with different professions. As a specialist, you also have an important role as a supervisor for our training doctors and students.

Your skills and competencies

We are looking for someone who is a specialist in general medicine and who wants to help develop primary care with us. You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and you find it easy to build good relationships with both patients and colleagues.

You are secure, stable, and your approach adapts to the situation. You collaborate and build natural good relationships with both patients and colleagues. You are engaged, proactive, and can act according to your own convictions.
